The app is highly helpful when it works, but recently it keeps assigning current sessions to previous ones, and marking guided sessions as unguided ones. This development has made it markedly more difficult to accurately track things.

The brush and guided brushing is great for thorough cleaning. I always use guided brushing. The app sometimes does not record the session correctly on my iPhone. One time it is correct, next time it will show it as unguided but I completed the brushing on the app. It can show zero for time but I finish with a time. The recent history graph isn’t accurate. One time it was off by a whole day ahead and then one day magically fixed itself.
The app works fine, but it’s a bit antiquated compared to other apps. It doesn’t offer any syncing to an Apple Watch or other wearables. It’s a shame because you have to use your phone when a watch is much more desirable, especially if you brush your teeth in the shower. The app could use some updates but still workable as is.
This is a quality metric and market advisor. System app works to better health.
A smart toothbrush absolutely should proactively alert you when your battery is low. I'm constantly surprised by the battery on this "smart" toothbrush dying. Prioritize low battery alerts. Alert at the END of the session at >10% battery. Seriously, y'all. Gut the gimmicks. Nobody cares about badges.
Two brushes, two iPhones. My wife is happy with the app and insisted that I needed it too. I don’t need it. One extra chore when brushing + it seems the app gets confused when I start it. For whatever reason, each time I use it, it starts registering again. Too much trouble for too little benefit. Oral B replied with some suggestions to solve the connection issue. Disconnect other Bluetooth devices? Apple Watch and AirPods—then reconnect after brushing. Not worth it. The Oral B is a great toothbrush. The app is not necessary! Oral B replied again. Kudos for their efforts. The brush tells you with pauses to move to the next area and when you’re done. That’s good enough for me. BTW, my wife loves the app, but she doesn’t use it! Bottom line-the brush is great. The app is unnecessary IMO.
I love the idea of being guided to the areas I need to brush & love following along with the guided brushing, but it never detects the bottom lower left quadrant of my mouth so I can’t ever get a good score :(
My teeth have Ben better than ever. Thank you oral-B for all your help!
I love the metals, the brushing teeth, the way things showing you where you’re brushing and how much you need to do the best of all apps🥰🥳🎉😊🤩
The toothbrush is great and so is the app but it’s just whenever I brush my teeth just it won’t get all of it like I brush one side but it thinks I’m brushing the other side so that takes off two stars bothering that it’s great
So I will say I enjoy 85% of what this app does/offers, like reminding me when to change the heads, or track gum bleeding, flossing/mouth wash habit, and even the AI assisted brush coverage is good in theory. But the 2 major issue for me is this, the AI is off by various amounts on its calculation of how much time, or how well, you got a particular quadrant. Sometimes it will show I’m on the upper right, and I’m actually in the middle. So that’s not 100% accurate.. but close enough. My major thing is that when you select a “goal”, it limits the setting you can set on the actual physical tooth bush (mine has 5 modes). And no matter what goal you select, brushing your tongue is apart of that goal, yet it will not allow me to select the tongue mode on my actual toothbrush now. Even when I delete it I can’t change it anymore. It stays on whatever goal setting I selected last. So frustrating.
This is got to be the best toothbrush I’ve ever used. To be able to get complete coverage and know that you’re brushing every single tooth is simply amazing. I love my toothbrush. I love my Oral-B.
The only that I’ve found to get it to record anything is to bring my phone with me, open the app and tap “brush”. But when you do this it turns off the 30 second prompts to switch quadrants thinking that you’re watching the clock on your phone. Totally useless
Was working fantastically now can’t even open
The brushing is good I can't stop using this and the best part is when you do it perfectly bro like it's good.
My io died today :(
My teeth feel dentist clean every time I brush
Please have an option to send battery notifications. It should send a notification when app detect battery below certain level.
Please add permanent lighting for the ring
…and we’re back to the same old problems! The recorded day is wrong - says Saturday when it’s only Friday - and scores the current session as the previous one with no score for this one - all very frustrating!! You had it fixed, but the latest update appears to have undone all the good work from last year. Please try again….
This is a great electric toothbrush. You actually look forward to brushing your teeth.
It’s surprisingly accurate when it detects the brush position in the mouth and is a great reminder to up keep oral health. I love that this app exist. A Bluetooth toothbrush is a right of passage.
I should have played around with the app more. I didn’t know I had to open the app and the gently shake the toothbrush to sync unguided brushes. Thanks for replying and letting me know.
The IO9 is amazing and my teeth feel so clean. The app on the other hand does not work half the time. When the app does work, and I go to brush, it does not pick up the sections correctly. I will be brushing my LLQ and it is showing RLQ - this is not accurate for tracking how well I brush. Hope the guided brushing improved.
Excellent app when used in conjunction with the iQ brush. Cool to see realtime brushing progress.
I mostly like the app but it still has the bug in which the battery percentage level doesn’t show all the digits. It used to. Also, sometimes, the app doesn’t quite accurately display where the toothbrush is in my mouth.
app crashes when clicking on the app . Only have had it downloaded for an hour. Is this a bug issue ?
Never keeps up with the correct date, how long I brush, at one point it said I brushed for 9 minutes! At this point I use it for the timer.
I am a little confused, when do we brush the tongue lol?
Works really good
This app is really helpful it helps me know where to clean and put more pressure I love how it turns white when your done cleaning that side I love the tooth brush also you can choose all diffrent thing
The over pressure indicator I believe is too sensitive and my arms you down. I also think the teeth diagram is backward or confusing . You should include some perspective or vantage point. Overall though I like the brush and feel my teeth are getting cleaner. I wish you didn’t need to have to use in conjunction with your phone to get feedback. It should store and sync periodically
App has great theory but poor execution. App does not follow toothbrush regularly. Tired of chasing the point where it thinks the brush is to get it to follow.
Fácil de usar
Very horrible accuracy makes me do stuff I’ve done and not do stuff that I haven’t it makes me angry and makes me stressed
Good Toothbrush
The app will not consistently sync with my brush. It will tell me I got a perfect score but with a brush time of 0:00. Also the app does not have brush reminders.
Can’t even get the basics right. I have a iPhone 16 Pro Max, and a recent Oral B toothbrush. This app has random toothbrush disconnects during brushing which messes up the session tracking. They need to fix the fundamentals.
First day it worked fine. Second day, will not open or load. Definitely disappointed!
The app syncs with the brush showing battery life but fails to show the history of brushes I did without the guided training mode on. Please fix. Thanks
Fix your ai now I got a 50 on my score because your ai is not working properly
Not sure why, but the app suddenly stopped working today. Shut down, restarted and still not working. No updates available for app so not sure what the issue is. When I was able to use it the couple times prior it worked great. Was able to fix the problem by deleting the app and reinstalling.
I love how the app knows which tooth I’m brushing. Really makes it easy to get a perfect bushing session. It’s almost like a game.
Me too
Bummer was working good then stopped syncing and shows no brush time. If you are going to offer a product this fancy, would be nice if it worked consistently.
My brush won’t connect with the app
Came with sessions that weren’t mine, maybe from testing? Will show progress during a guided brush and then when I end brushing my teeth my stats are 0. Will give it more time I’m sure my teeth are good and clean but the app is lacking.
I just bought one of the high end iO series, and took over 3 minutes to fully clean my teeth. When brushing my upper front teeth it has issues registering that I’m actually brushing my top teeth. The toothbrush is awesome but the app is just annoying to use.
The application cannot access the profile. It goes out as soon as you enter the password. Use as a guest is only possible. Everything worked before...
